August 2006 - WCGS launches Class 5 Sip platform
October 2008 - WCGS launches Class 4 Carrier-Carrier switch rental service through its new Teles Next Generation Network Soft Switch.
The Teles softswitch is a state of the art platform offering 5 9's of reliability and supports SIP - TDM - SS7 - C7.
Employment Opportunities
We are expanding and looking for the following qualified individuals to join our team:
Database/applications developer
You will play a major role in a small software development team designing, coding, testing, and implementing various database driven program modules and reports. These modules will integrate into our web based front end which uses J2SE/JSP and will use Oracle 10g as a back end database. We are in the telecom industry, so our databases tend to be very large (hundreds of millions of rows and possibly larger). Therefore, experience dealing with large databases and optimizing queries on very large tables is a plus.
Required skills:
- 5 years experience building database driven applications using J2SE/JSP.
- 5 years experience with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and RDBMS design methods.
- HTML/Javascript
- Must be comfortable working in a Linux environment.
Helpful, but not required skills:
- Shell scripting using bash under Linux
- Expect
- Some knowledge of C/C++
- Some knowledge of Perl
- Any experience with VOIP/SIP applications (specifically SER, Asterisk also)
- Any experience processing CDRs in a telecom database environment
Ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter who wants to learn and grow at a fast pace in a fast industry. Salary commensurate with experience.
